Herb Inspired Grilled Chicken Salad (Lowest Cholesterol)

Ingredients
1 5oz skinless chicken breast, raw (~4 ounces cooked) 150g
4 cups Leafy greens, romaine lettuce (roughly chopped) about 7 romaine leaves 1000 ml
1 cup Grape tomatoes 250 ml
1 ounce Feta cheese, crumbled 30 g
2 tbsp Chives, chopped 30 ml
1 tbsp Tarragon, chopped 15 ml
Nutrition Bite: A fresh, summer salad topped with herbs perfect for any meal. Top with a grilled
chicken breast either whole or cut into cubes and enjoy with a whole grain roll and a glass of milk to
create a balanced meal! Tarragon has a strong licorice flavour so use sparingly. Compliment this salad
with a drizzle of home made balsamic vinaigrette .
Directions
1. Preheat the grill to 400 oF.
2. Place the chicken breast on the grill over direct heat. Grill each side for about 5 minutes, or until
an internal temperature reaches 165 oF using a digital food thermometer. Set aside.
3. In a bowl, combine leafy greens, tomatoes, feta cheese, and herbs (tarragon and chives). Mix
together.
4. Top with grilled chicken and enjoy!

Ingredients
1 /4 cup Extra-virgin Olive Oil 50 ml
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar 25 ml
2 tsp Brown sugar 10 ml
¼ tsp Ground cinnamon 1 ml
1/3 cup 100% real fruit juice, pineapple or orange 75 ml
Directions
Whisk together olive oil, vinegar, juice, cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.

    The one drawback of FBF is that the author does try to sell you a variety of nutritional supplements and vitamins. I’m sure they are all great, but I don’t really see the need for them.
